Voter Information
A voter information card is not required to vote. You are eligible to vote in the election if you meet all of the following requirements:
You are a Canadian citizen;
You are aged 18 or older; and
You qualify to vote in the municipality.
For more information, visit the City of Sault Ste. Marie’s website.
Ward 4 or 5 voters: The City of Sault Ste. Marie is advising electors in Ward 4 and 5 to watch for their revised Voter Notification Card. The replacement card is yellow and contains the correct voting location information. The revised cards were mailed to residents in Wards 4 and 5 after an issue was identified that caused some original Voter Notification Cards to display incorrect voting locations. Electors who receive a yellow card should refer to it when planning where to vote and should safely dispose of their previous white card. Electors who have already cast their ballot in the 2026 Municipal Election can disregard this notice.
